Clinic Nallam is a multi-specialty hospital. It was founded by late Dr. Nallam Satyanarayana in the year 1952. It has now grown into a full fledged hospital with 75 beds and modern health care facilities. The present Director, Dr. Nallam.V. is an eminent surgeon with an experience of 40 years and is a prominent figure in and around Pondicherry. He is also well-known for his social activities.
He was decorated with Chevalier Legion d' Honneur by the French Government in 1998 and 2008. Clinic Nallam is recognised for international patients and as a centre of medical training centre for French medical students. Every year Clinic Nallam accommodates 20 medical and nursing students for training from France.
Clinic Nallam is completely equipped with latest CT Scans, Color Doppler, Video Endoscopes, Harmonic Scalpel and 24 hrs Trauma Centre. It has an ICU centre with 8 beds and a trauma ward with 5 beds. Our bed facilities include deluxe suites, special wards and general wards. It also has a modern operation theatre block including 3 theatres to perform major and minor surgeries.
The hospital is associated with Partage dans le Monde to provide free health care facilities in rural villages in and around Pondicherry. The hospital has 3 ambulances including a hi-tech ambulance and is fully equipped to transport patients to Chennai.
